(QC-1500 rough opening is 14-1/4” x 14-1/4”)  The main difference is that this cooling solution now comes with a 25 year warranty and wll run if the sun is out or if the sun is not out!  This fan can exceed 3000 CFMs.These fans are made to order so they take a little longer to ship.
