The QC-1500RM exhausts directly out the roof.
The Quietcool QC-1500RM is an innovative whole house fan. Not only does it deliver 1500 cubic feet per minute of airflow, it is nearly silent and exhausts directly out of the roof. This design eliminates the vibrations, rattles and noise common to traditional whole house fans.
It can be installed almost anywhere in the ceiling as long as there is room to get to the roof above. The fan is connected to an attractive ceiling grille with acoustical insulated flexible duct. The motor has insulated, positive closing damper doors that prevent air loss when the fan is not operating. R-14 insulated winterization pads are available for extra insulation in cold climates.
